Seematti Silks ("we", "us", "our") operates the Seematti Saree Club mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

- Phone number — for login via OTP (one-time password) and to link your purchases
- Email address (optional) — if you choose to sign in with Google
- Date of birth (optional) — to send you birthday rewards
- Anniversary date (optional) — for special occasion offers
b) Information collected automatically
- Purchase history — transaction data synced from our billing system when you shop at Seematti Silks
- Stars and rewards activity — your loyalty points balance, tier status, and redemption history
- Device identifiers — push notification tokens (FCM) to send you notifications about your rewards
- Bill photos — if you upload a bill photo for star claims, the image is processed by our AI system to extract bill details and is not stored permanently
c) Information we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your location data
- We do not collect your contacts or call logs
- We do not collect browsing history
- We do not use advertising identifiers
- We do not track you across other apps or websites
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely for the following purposes:
- Account management — to create and maintain your Saree Club membership
- Loyalty rewards — to track your stars, calculate tier status, and process reward redemptions
- Notifications — to inform you about new stars earned, rewards ready to redeem, tier upgrades, and special offers
- Bill processing — to verify and process bill photos you upload for star claims
- Customer support — to assist you with any issues related to your membership
- Service improvement — to understand usage patterns and improve the App experience
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be processed by the following service providers who act on our behalf:
- Supabase (database hosting) — stores your account and transaction data securely
- Google Firebase (push notifications) — delivers notification messages to your device
- AiSensy/SmartPing (WhatsApp OTP) — sends one-time passwords for login verification
- Anthropic (AI processing) — processes bill photos to extract purchase details (images are not stored)
These providers process data only as instructed by us and are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Supabase in the Mumbai (Asia Pacific) region. We implement the following security measures:
- All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- Database access is protected by Row Level Security (RLS) policies
- Authentication is handled via secure OTP verification
- Screenshots are blocked within the App to protect your QR code and account details
- Staff access to member data is restricted and authenticated
5. Data Retention
- Account data — retained for as long as your Saree Club membership is active
- Transaction history — retained for the duration of your membership for reward tracking purposes
- Stars — earned stars expire 12 months after the date they were earned
- Bill photos — processed in real-time and not stored permanently on our servers
- Push notification tokens — retained while the App is installed on your device
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — you can view all your personal data within the App (Profile section)
- Correction — you can update your name, email, and other details in the App
- Deletion — you can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data
- Opt-out of notifications — you can disable push notifications from your device settings
- Data portability — you can request a copy of your data by contacting us
7. Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Seematti Saree Club account and all associated personal data:
- Send a WhatsApp message to +91 88588 48842 with the subject "Delete my account"
- Or email us at fuzailseematti@gmail.com with your registered phone number
Upon receiving your request, we will:
- Verify your identity via your registered phone number
- Delete all your personal data, transaction history, and membership records within 30 days
- Confirm the deletion via WhatsApp or email
Please note that account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Any unused stars and rewards will be forfeited.
8. Children's Privacy
The Seematti Saree Club App is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
9. Third-Party Links
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as WhatsApp for customer support). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies independently.
